Evan Brown is a musician, closet cartoonist (hence the unnecessary lizard drawing above), frisbee enthusiast, and all around run-of-the-mill guy. As guitarist/backup vocalist for the rock band Shaimus, his guitar playing was featured in the smash hit video game Guitar Hero ("All Of This"), as well as the Rock Band game franchise ("Like a Fool," "All Of This" and "Tie You Down"). Additionally with the band, he has received FM radio airplay, licensed music to MTV, had several TV placements (such as "One Tree Hill"), become a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition ("Turn the Other Way"), and appeared in the Sony/Screen Gems film The Roommate (2011) in an Oscar-worthy performance as "Band Member #3."

Apart from Shaimus, Evan is also a freelance guitar player/composer (including performances with Arielle Verinis at the 2008 Long Beach Blues Festival, Jules Larson and others) and a solo artist. His cheesy rock guitar version of the fight song for the Philadelphia Eagles became a regular feature on the number one morning show in Philly, WMMR's Preston and Steve Show (he would also perform live on the show in 2006).

Evan grew up near Philadelphia, PA where he began playing music at a young age in the church bell choir (with all the cool kids) and later on sax in the school band (with even cooler kids). He first picked up a guitar in middle school; six months later he started his first band and never looked back. Several bands and a few self-recorded albums later, he attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. He currently resides in Los Angeles, CA, where he enjoys watching sports and reading books about physics, and spends most of his time attempting in vain to maintain a reasonable tan.
